Quantum Mechanics Intro


     To some, quantum mechanics would seem scary, but a better word might be "spooky" because weird things happen at a subatomic scale. Quantum mechanics, quantum theory, or quantum physics is a fundamental theory that describes nature at it's smallest. Quantum mechanics arose from a need to explain observations which could not be reconciled with classical physics. Early contributors include Max Planck, Albert Einstein, Erwin Schrodinger, Max Born, and Werner Heisenberg.
